 Dr. Imershein practices Gynecology at the George Washington University Hospital, Sibley Memorial Hospital and Medstar's Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr. Imershein is qualified to treat a wide array of gynecologic conditions in individuals from teenagers to senior citizens. "I believe strongly in empowering women to make intelligent decisions about their health care - including patient education and offering all reasonable options for care and treatment from puberty through the post-menopausal years." Dr. Imershein graduated from University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude and received her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at NYU-Bellevue Medical Center. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Imershein is a also a NAMS certified Menopause Clinician and a certified Reform Mohelet. She is Associate Clinical Professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine and a student of Health Policy in the Masters of Public Health program in the GWU School of Public Health and Health Sciences.
